Hi, I'm David!

My name is David, I'm a self taught software engineer from Glasgow, Scotland.

I have always been technically creative and extremely interested in learning how things work. For a number of years I have created custom systems for the popular RPG Maker game engines. I have also created windows dll files, ruby extensions, custom game launchers, http & api frameworks for use by indie game devs, custom applications for windows and android, and a small number of arduino projects/libraries. Recently, I have decided to share more of the processes involved in the work I create. So, with that being said, I hope you enjoy what I do!

Electron Media Overlay, or EMO, is exactly as its name suggests... It is an electron application that creates a transparent overlay window. The overlay window can be used to watch local media files and even act as a basic browser for the web!

The DMV Plugins engine is written for RPG Maker MV, using the javascript programming language. It contains incredibly helpful systems such as statistic distribution, customizable online highscores, full keyboard input, screenshot downloader, various new statistics, and much more!

The Dekyde Ace Engine was written for RPG Maker VX Ace. It was initially hosted on my old dekyde.com website which is unfortunately no longer active. It features some incredibly advanced systems such as; optimized input system, with keylogger, cheat codes, and more!, developer utility systems, and fully customizable online highscores!

The $D13x Engine was written for RPG Maker VX Ace in 2013-14 and was initially hosted on my old wordpress blog. The 'engine' features around 80 complete systems boasting features such as; achievements, pokemon stats, custom scene backgrounds, particles, enemy levels, final fantasy style status effects, mmo style regen over time, statistic distribution systems, particle weather effects, various game and battle huds, weather effects altering stats, skill trees, animated map names, and many more!
